25 neighbors want community bicycles to Dix Park.

Community bikes are placed throughout the city (maybe close to green ways), residents purchase keys to unlock bikes and ride to destination. Once finished with trip, resident returns bike to same or another community bike rack. Keys work for all racks and revenue generated from key sales is used for bike maintenance, more rack locations, etc.

"LimeBike, a California company, has brought its bike-share program to N.C. State University at the invitation of the school’s transportation department. Three hundred of the company’s bright green bikes were set out on campus as students returned on Aug. 16, and since then more than 1,400 people have downloaded the company’s mobile app that lets them unlock a bike and charges them for the time they’re using it."

Instead of the city spending $8+ million on parking spots in the new Kane tower I'd rather see some money spent on a bike share and bike lanes. We don't need to encourage more driving in downtown.
