That a good , because there will be people who from other parts of the San Francisco Bay Area or people who are from San Francisco that moved to other parts of the Bay Area. They might want to come into the City, like the East Cut district. Not all of them going to can take public transportation. Like those from Mountain View, Livermore, Danville, Newark, Milpitas and Vacaville. There also those that just drive more then take public transportation.

Good to keep in mind, Clarence, especially with projects like 75 Howard that will turn existing structured parking into new housing.

Further, I feel like this topic is interrelated to this one: neighborland.com/ideas/sf-impr...

What it need is at least more good basic pedestrian lighting. So that, that area does not look like it is always unsafe to be at. Even when people are not there waiting for train. There might be some people that walk through that area for what ever reason. Also at lest some cheaper basic décor or style for the area. IF that can fit into the budget.

This just came to mine, maybe an example of a good Caltrain to follow is the in San Bruno one. Where it is the back side streets of Tanforan shopping mall, near Melody Toyota.

Here links to photos of the Caltrain Station
