I am a designer, organizer, and activist in the Bay Area. My work is based around how information and innovation can be used as empowerment tools for cities and communities. I currently serve as Research Director at Gray Area Foundation for the Arts where I oversee city-wide research initiatives, creative technology projects, and research residencies.
I have experience in urban planning, graphic and web design, community outreach, writing, fundraising, strategic consulting, spatial analysis, cartography, audio production, and locative media.
My work as a designer and organizer has been featured in The New York Times, The Associated Press, The San Francisco Chronicle, Mashable, GOOD, Fast Company, Design Observer, The Atlantic Cities, OpenSource.com, and other domestic and international outlets.
