The cities of Mountain View and Palo Alto have sent official letters to VTA calling for a representative from a city in northern Santa Clara County (Mountain View, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills) to be appointed to the Caltrain board. We currently are not represented on this board. Representation will be crucial as Caltrain makes scheduling decisions over the next several years as modernization is implemented.
