The Beale Street Bonanza was the first ever community block party to help fund Downtown Streets Team -- The East Cut Community Benefit District's neighborhood work experience program to fight homelessness.

The Bonanza celebrated the neighborhood's collection of public open spaces with a Walkabout Survey followed by a free community Block Party. With the Walkabout Survey, neighbors were able to provide input on how we can make our district more inviting, accessible, and safe.

The free and open to the public event featured:

Unique food, drinks, activities, speakers, and entertainment including:
  • Pop-up outdoor cafe serving a variety of brunch items
  • Craft cocktail brunch bar
  • Activities for kids and families
  • The East Cut Town Square featuring entertainment and talks with neighbors, City partners, and more.
