What does the future of transportation look like in Central Texas?

The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) is working to develop the 2045 Plan, a long-range Regional Transportation Plan to address transportation needs over the next 25 years in Bastrop, Burnet, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson counties. This multimodal plan includes a variety of transportation modes including driving, walking, biking, transit, and emerging technologies.

What is CAMPO?

CAMPO is the regional planning entity that creates transportation plans to coordinate better region-wide options in six Central Texas counties. CAMPO focuses on long-range plans, coordinates with local cities and counties, and provides funding opportunities for projects. Simply put – CAMPO puts local puzzle pieces together for big-picture regional transportation solutions.
