Good news for people that use bikes-- and great work by Marin County Bicycle Coalition:
"Bicycle and pedestrian advocates were pleased to see the board allocate $4.5 million to study completing the North-South Greenway — a mostly auto-free alternative to Highway 101 — and studying building undercrossings at Wornum Drive. The Marin County Bicycle Coalition submitted a petition supporting the pathway with more than 680 signatures."
Seems like a no brainer. Happy to contribute
Curious to hear whether if there are legal or bureaucratic hurdles that would prevent a private citizen from making this happen.
I'm in touch with Parks and Recreation about this now via email. There are some hoops to jump through but I'm jumping.
Kids, mommas, and daddies need a clean place to wash up. Could be a fun design contest for a local aspiring architects.
My wife dislikes Porta-Pottys with great passion.
I am not sure how this problem will be resolved prior to building the massive proposed development there. I am assuming it will have to be to avoid compounding already-existing problems with flooding-related traffic.
Hey Heather - how is co-housing different than renting?
Please include swings for the kids. More and more parks neglect to put in enough of them. Kids loves swings!!
It's rare you see swings hanging still when they are in a park; kids are just waiting for one to be free to
swing on. Swings are an excellent brain stimulator, too!
Full Time Security - if we can pay for 500 mail boxes we can pay for security - I feel confident that citizens would support spending more money on security -
