To celebrate National Day of Civic Hacking
, we have declared all of June and July Hack Months. Our Civic Hack is to take an unrented building and turn it into a month long HQ for civic hackers. Space is crucial for ideas and movements to take shape. While much can be accomplished in 48 hours, we want to see what can come out of National Day of Civic Hacking if we give our teams 60 days of space and resources.
There has been a two-month long series of events and hackathons at [ freespace ] culminating in the launch of several civic hacks. Learn more about the project here - freespace.io
, and connect with us on www.facebook.com/freespace.io
We're asking this question on Neighborland to collect ideas and inspire participants in [ freespace ] to rapidly prototype their ideas. [ freespace ] and Neighborland will be awarding a $500 grant to a team that gathers the most support (me toos) so to help that team continue its mission.
