We need to work with the City to provide real vision for our neighborhood. Right now, despite "Vision Zero" (what I call "zero vision"), it is almost impossible to walk the neighborhood because of traffic and the lack of traffic enforcement. We need to get a neighborhood committee together to work with SFMTA to really make our neighborhood safe for pedestrians.

San Francisco Public Works recently celebrated the groundbreaking of the Second Street Improvement Project. The project, which occurs on the Vision Zero High-Injury Network, will make Second Street safer and more comfortable for all users by adding bicycle tracks, new street trees, and expanded crosswalks and pedestrian refuges. We are excited to see these changes take shape over the coming months!
