long time in this hood - since 1983! I live in the little house next to Olea. I'm a designer turned writer and community organizer - started The Hill, a journal that was published by volunteers for 25 years. And co founded the Greene Hill Food Co-op which is young and spunky and has 1200 members all of whom work and shop in our store at 18 Putnam. My kitty is named Billie Holiday. I am a Quaker (not Amish or Shaker, Quaker). You often see me riding my yellow trike around the fascinating and ever changing streets of north Brooklyn.
