Green Connections
The Green Connections project aims to improve how people get to parks and open space throughout San Francisco. The project builds on current efforts to green neighborhood streets, enhance urban ecology and improve pedestrian and bicycle access to our city’s parks, open spaces and the waterfront.

Green Connections is a collaborative effort of the San Francisco Planning Department, San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency, San Francisco Department of Public Health and the Mayor’s Office of Housing. The City Agencies have partnered with three community based organizations: San Francisco Parks Alliance, Walk San Francisco and Nature in the City.
