In February 2013, the City of New Orleans was selected to receive technical assistance from the U.S. EPA. If Parks and Parkways just clips back tree branches off the trail, and around street lights, there would be a huge improvement. Also, there is Rec Trails federal money that will go to repaving this trail early in 2013.
