WordPress is an easy to use "do it yourself" platform for web publishing. Right now there are over 69,000,000 web sites around the world running on Wordpress.

This class is perfect for newbies who want a website but aren't sure where or how to buy a domain name, hosting or even what those things are! We'll install WordPress and show you how anyone can can create a manage a great looking website. By the end of the class you'll have a basic website up and ready for content.

In this workshop you will:

Learn the difference between and
Learn to pick a good domain and hosting companies and purchase yours
Plan the structure for your site
Install WordPress
Learn to choose a theme (the look and navigation scheme for your site)
Create a page, a post with rich content and a menu
